Movie: 12 Rounds
Review: I Watched 12 Rounds and thought it was a better movie than I expected it to be. It stars John Cena as a decorated cop who seems to care more about his job than his family. Things dramatically change as the man who he puts in prison escapes and goes after his family because the villans wife was killed in a battle with Cena. The villan gives Cena 12 Rounds where he has to do a new challenge in each round. The challenges are meant to have Cena fail and involve quick thinking and creativity — ranging from evacuating the city from a possible bomb in a fire truck to stopping a trolly going downhill at 50 mph with the brakes cut. I thought the acting was well down except for a few cheesy scenes and the twists kept you guessing although some of it was predictable.
